چکیده
Abstract Aim Flexible Nasoendoscope (FNE) is an essential device routinely used to assess patients who present acutely the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) department with signs symptoms of ENT pathologies that may compromise patient’s airway. It imperative scope decontaminated before after each use. The “Tristel Trio Wipe” decontamination methodology employed by most departments in UK process utilises audit logbook correctly document sterilisation as well allowing accurate patient traceability. aim was conduct a review documentation traceability FNE use on acute setting. Method Retrospective over one-month periods 11/10/2019 –10/11/2019 (Audit 1) 26/12/2019 – 21/01/2020 (audit 2). Tristel electronic note PPM+ were for data collection. Data analysed using Microsoft excel. Results 100% decontaminations correct Wipes. However, one demonstrated 54.5% compliance 0% had recorded all information. Following intervention easier identification scopes their storage; teaching Senior House Officers registrar about process, improved 81%, while increased 39% during re-audit. Conclusions As department, we have significantly our both information following above. A further 3rd cycle planned.

متن کاملClean the graph before you draw it!
We prove a relationship between the Cleaning problem and the Balanced Vertex– Ordering problem, namely that the minimum total imbalance of a graph equals twice the brush number of a graph. This equality has consequences for both problems. On one hand, it allows us to prove the NP-completeness of the Cleaning problem, which was conjectured by Messinger et al. [7]. On the other hand, it also enab...
متن کاملIt’s Not Magic: I Can Prove It
Our work presents a new approach to developing, analyzing, and proving correctness of programs intended for execution on a quantum computer. We provide tools to write quantum as well as classical specifications, develop quantum and classical solutions for them, and analyses various properties of quantum specifications and quantum programs, such as implementability, time and space complexity, an...
متن کاملIt's Doomed; We Can Prove It
Programming errors found early are the cheapest. Tools applying to the early stage of code development exist but either they suffer from false positives (“noise”) or they require strong user interaction. We propose to avoid this deficiency by defining a new class of errors. A program fragment is doomed if its execution will inevitably fail, in whatever state it is started. We use a formal verif...
متن کامل\And" Can You Validate It?
We advocate changing a language if that language cannot support validation. To this end, we are exploring the computational cost of basic language constructs within our abductive validation framework. Conjunction is found to decrease the computational cost of validation for theories 5 that are not used for time-based simulation purposes. However, in the case of time-based simulations, the use o...
